Dr. Shantel M. Scott is an educator, speaker, your new favorite author, and the visionary behind The Learning Doctor Consulting, LLC. With a doctorate in Instructional Technology and Distance Education, she creates learning experiences that do more than share information—they help people communicate with clarity, courage, and authenticity. Her core mission is clear: from foundational vocabulary to daily habits of reflection, she helps people use precise words to unlock their confidence and transform their lives.

As a high school English teacher and instructional technology leader, Dr. Scott is passionate about helping educators and learners move beyond flat, forgettable instruction. She champions the idea that through the cumulative application of replacing "dead words" with dynamic language, individuals can better articulate their thoughts and elevate their mindset. Her work lives at the intersection of literacy, empowerment, and voice, designing educational experiences and leveraging technology to amplify human connection rather than replace it.

This philosophy flows through every facet of her work, bridging the early childhood wonder of her picture book, I Wish I Had a Million Sparkles, with the adult vocabulary and reflection frameworks found in Unfinished Business.
